Enhancing Clinical Competency in FND: A Mindful and Integrative Approach
Dr. Moenter has been asked by the FNDsociety to serve as a mentor in the FNDS Mentorship Program. She offers individual and group supervision to clinicians residing in Colorado and mentorship to experienced clinicians countrywide working with individuals diagnosed FND.
Dr. Moenter’s approach to developing and mastering clinical competency integrates mindfulness practice, a deep understanding of the psychotherapeutic process, and the thoughtful selection of complementary interventions from various traditions. This approach encourages flexibility and innovation, moving beyond the conventional framework of "mental and/or neurological illness."
Consultation services are available for those looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in caring for individuals with FND.
